Survey Authorization Survey Authorization This is to authorize Top Quality Title, LLC to order a survey of the below referenced property on our behalf in connection with the purchase/sale or refinance of the following property: We direct Top Quality Title, LLC to order the survey on our behalf from the survey company of their choosing. If you have a preferred survey company please write in your preferred survey company below. The average cost for a survey is $250.00 to $350.00, but can be higher based on the size of the property, location, type of land use, or other factors. If an elevation certificate is required due to the property being located in a flood zone an additional charge of $100.00 to $400.00, or more at times, may be charged.File Number or Property Address *We understand that it will be our sole responsibility to pay the surveyor for their charge in connection with the survey, regardless of whether or not we as the buyers/borrowers are approved for our loan and regardless of whether or not the transaction closes. The fee can be charged on the closing statement, to be paid at closing, but MUST be paid upon delivery of the survey. This includes at the time of contract cancellation, should that occur. If funds are being held in escrow and the file is cancelled, I/we authorize Top Quality Title, LLC to pay the survey fee out of any funds being returned to me/us. If the deposit is directed to the seller or any other party other than myself, I agree that within 10 business days I will provide Top Quality Title, LLC with payment for the survey fee. We hereby authorize Top Quality Title, LLC to provide the surveyor with our name, address, and telephone number should it be necessary to contact us for payment.
